Partial-Chip Systems – Liquid Minerals

Our Deluxe and Premium “partial-chip” coating systems are the most basic (and least expensive) floor coatings. They incorporate thermoplastic (polyvinyl acetate or PVC) chip blends only… broadcast in a medium (Deluxe) to extra-heavy (Premium) spread. The Deluxe has no clear coat (and so never installed in garages), while the Premium sports a single clear topcoat. Our Diamond Effects and Stone Silicate coating systems are “next-level” partial chip coatings: identical to the Premium, with one important exception: the chip blends incorporate both thermoplastic and mica stone flakes. While the thermoplastic chips provide color and contrast, the mica provides “reflectivity” (the sparkle!) that you won’t get with thermoplastic-only flooring.
